EU wants Software Patents

This is really important.
If you live anywhere near brussels, and are interested in protecting your rights as a developer, user or seller of software go along and show your support. The EU is voting on introducing a US style software patent law, this will not protect anyone except very large corporations ( and even that is unlikely judging by recent stories in the news).
Software patents are a contradiction in terms, and serve only to make money for companies that are going bust and start to look through their patent portfolio.
